Earthaven Museum is a nonprofit educational
effort that seeks to foster a greater appreciation for the earth
sciences among young and old alike.

makes some minerals precious gemstones.

some minerals glow in the dark.

to identify rocks, minerals and fossils.

to collect minerals and fossils.
· Where
meteorites come from and how they impact earth.
· How
dinosaur fossils are preserved and what they tell us about life long
ago.
· What
causes mineral colors and crystal shapes.
· Which
minerals and rocks are important for jewelry and lapidary.
· The
miniature world and beauty of micro-minerals.
· How
humans have used rocks and minerals down through the ages.
Earthaven also
has 1.5 miles of nature trails on it’s 40 acre site open to the
public. Admission to Earthaven is free. Donations of materials and
money are welcomed.
